In November of 2022, I had the pleasure of shooting with the stunning model, Abi, on Delwood Beach in the Sydney suburb of Manly. We decided to go for a bikini and swimwear theme for this shoot, and Abi brought with her a selection of beautiful bikinis, one piece swimsuits, and coverups to choose from.
The day of the shoot was a perfect Sydney sunny day with just the right amount of warmth in the air. We began the shoot in the, shooting in the full sun on the sand.
For this shoot, I was using my trusty Canon 5D Mk IV camera and a Canon 70-200mm lens. This combination allowed me to capture stunning shots with amazing clarity and detail. The 70-200mm lens is a favourite of mine for portrait photography when travelling, as it allows me to zoom in close and really capture the essence of the subject.
After shooting on the sand for a while, we decided to move to the shade near some rocks at the side of the beach. Here, we were able to capture some shots with a different vibe, one that was more intimate and moody. Abi looked absolutely stunning in a white bikini and white shirt, and we were able to capture some truly amazing shots.
As we continued to shoot, I was amazed at Abi’s natural talent in front of the camera. Her movements were fluid and graceful, and she had a way of connecting with the camera that was truly special. We were able to capture a variety of shots, from candid moments to more posed shots, and the shots from the photoshoot were full of wow moments!
I am excited to share two new edits from this shoot with you. The first image features Abi wearing her black one-piece swimsuit in the sun on the sand. This shot has a high-fashion feel to it with the look of the one-piece and Abi’s pose.
The second image is from the shade from some rocks at the side of the beach. Abi in her white bikini and white shirt looking incredible in this shot.
This photoshoot was an amazing experience, and I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a talented model in such a beautiful location. I look forward to more shoots like this in the future and can’t wait to see what magic we can create together.
