We shot a number of looks with the vibe and a very casual state of dress, or undress telling the story of someone waking up on a Sunday morning, relaxing about the house and not caring about anything. This particular shot was inspired partly by the actor María Valverde in the film Madrid 1987 with model Catarina just wearing the towel and processed in Black and White to add to the mood of the shot.
The film Madrid 1987 is a captivating drama thought-provoking movie and Maria Valverde mesmerises audiences with her stunning performance as a complex character. Throughout much of the film, María Valverde’s character is depicted wearing nothing more than a towel around her waist, which adds to the film’s raw and intimate atmosphere. Her portrayal showcases a sense of vulnerability and liberation as she navigates the complexities of life and relationships.
