Featuring some shots from using Ilford Pan F Plus 50 for a Photoshoot at the Beach with model Vanessa and shot on a Canon EOS 5 camera.
Ilford Pan F Plus 50 is a black and white film that is known for its fine grain and high resolution. It has an ISO speed rating of 50, which means that it is best suited for use in bright light conditions, such as outdoor photography or studio work with artificial lighting.
Ilford Pan F Plus 50 has an incredible fine grain structure, which allows for very sharp and detailed images. This makes it great for photographers who want to create high-quality prints or who need to capture fine details in their subjects.
I had intended to shoot this with Ilford Delta 100, but the only film available in Sydney with a speed lower that 400 at the time was Ilford Pan f plus 50. Rather than the higher grain of 400 speed films I decided to give Ilford Pan 5 plus 50 ago.
The lower speed did come with challenges and while I probably won’t use this film again, I prefer the slightly grainer look of Ilford Delta 100, I do like the results below.
The use of Ilford Pan F Plus 50 for a Photoshoot at the Beach was a continuation of this photoshoot with model Vanessa, at lady bay beach in Sydney, where we continued the theme of clothes at the beach, instead of swimwear, and added some shots in the water.
