A photoshoot with Model Elen Moore in January 2019 at Little Congwong beach in Sydney was a memorable experience. The beach itself is a hidden gem located in Botany Bay National Park, with crystal clear waters and soft sand, it’s a perfect location for a photoshoot. It’s a clothing-optional beach, so it’s not uncommon to see topless or nude sunbathers, which made it an ideal location for an art nude photoshoot. Despite the chilly morning, Elen and I managed to capture some stunning shots that captured the carefree vibe of the beach.
Black and white can be a powerful tool in bringing out the mood in an image. It can make a photo feel timeless, classic, and emotional. In the case of our photoshoot, using black and white processing brought out the raw and natural beauty of the beach and Elen. It also added a sense of nostalgia, giving the photos an artistic feel. As a photographer, I always try to use black and white processing when I feel like it will help capture the mood of the shoot, and it’s one of my favorite techniques to use.
As a photographer, I love working with both new and experienced models and offering TFP (Time for Print) shoots. These photoshoots are a great opportunity for models to build their portfolios and for me to experiment with different ideas and techniques. For TFP shoots, I provide the model with five edited images of their choice, which they can use to showcase their work. If you’re a model looking to build your portfolio or just looking to have some fun and experiment with different styles, feel free to get in touch with me. I offer TFP photoshoots in both London and Sydney, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re in either location.
