I’ve added a new shot to this portfolio of a photoshoot in La Perouse, Sydney with model Elen Moore. A cold morning on Little Congwong Beach and Elen was modelling from summer fashion to art nude.
Despite the cold morning Elen was great for this shoot, bringing a range of modern and classical poses to the shoot. Little Congwong beach is a great location in Sydney and during the day is an unofficial nudist beach, which makes shooting art nudes much easier.
This shoot was with natural light, as due to the cold asking Elen to wait around while I adjusted light settings was not viable. But the morning Sydney light, even though grey and a little overcast was great.
Shot on a Canon 5d mkiv camera with a Sigma 85mm 1.4 art lens. This is one of my favourite choices of equipment for portraits. There is just something great about the 85mm focal length!
